How can he not have known? If he didn't, that would just underline his incompetence/lack of care.
He must know by now, surely - if he doesn't, that underlines the above even more. If he still doesn't take any action to reverse it, it's just a further indication of ITFC being stuffed under his ownership. |
I agree... but part of me wants to believe he didn’t, for the exact reasons you mention. If Evans knew, and was ok with this, it just proves how out of touch he is with the business of football and how little his words mean. It’s the confirmation that we all kind of already knew... he doesn’t give a damn about this football club, beyond the bottom line. |  |

Not sure about the who would replace Lambert. Going on past appointments ME will get someone in that no one thought about.
It is obvious that Chambers has the respect of the players so why not him, with Burley as a director of football/mentor. Skuse as coach with the likes of Dyer and Nash added to the team.

It's done for him here, on a human level it's almost not fair of ME to keep him in position whilst he sorts out his replacement - because there is surely very little chance that this isn't what is happening now.
Lambert has to go through the motions, to try and get us up for the Oxford game on Tuesday, then potentially traipse the width of the country on Saturday.......just get it over with, and get him out before he can do any more damage to the club and himself |
The other trouble with leaving the current guy in post whilst you sound out candidates. What happens if you successfully line someone up, then (not implausibly) beat the teams in 19th and 11th? Do you turn round and say, ooh, hang on? Once you've made the decision that he's not here long term, you have to bite the bullet. |  |

We've got people in the coaching staff who can take over for a few games. Dyer obviously wants a shot at it, we've got Butcher who has managed at a number of places.
Just have them take over for a few games whilst you sort it out. |  |

He did that with Magilton - we drew at Bristol City, who were in a similar place to us in the table at the time, and defeated Norwich before he swung the axe. | |
