Probably only an issue re Cook, if both of us are in for him, can see him going there; given up North, size of the club etc
As long as Evans is already sounding out;would have thought Cowleys might opt for us over Sunderland. Other candidates perhaps are for one or other e.g. Phillips for them, Dyer for us. [Post edited 29 Nov 2020 17:31]

It was reported but there was a big meltdown because Ross was clearly also a target. I think ME probably was very confident he was going to get Hurst whatever.
The lesson is probably more that we ought not to be chasing a manger Sunderland are after at all. | |

Paul Cook really is the obvious one for either ourselves or Sunderland for me. They have the first mover advantage now, they can take their pick. |
