The local press guys are doing a good job, good on them to publish both the full transcripts and also the audio of what happened as that stops the club or Lambert claiming that someone was misquoted or their words were taken out of context.
We need to back all the media that are holding the club to account and not allow the club and Lambert to continue to try and paint a false narrative that we're all on the players back fueled by the media rather than the truth of us simply wanting Lambert out which is being reflected by the media. |  |

I had expected a statement from the Club today distancing the hierarchy from the managers comments.
A disgusting outburst and extremely personal. Journalists have not criticised Lambert personally, they have asked questions about his work, which is seriously in question I would have thought.
The Club are showing no class or professionalism. An absolute disgrace that bears no resemblance to the great people who have been involved in running this once great Club. |  | | |

Sadly that's the bad thing about there not being anyone at games, they can put it down to a vocal percentage of fans who use social media and forums, whipped up by journalists. That is completely false, but a deluded management team could well think that there are far more who don't use these things who still back the manager.
Even when we have 2,000 fans there or even 4,000 fans later, it's not going to make a blind bit of difference since someone with a confirmation bias isn't going to face facts until they see evidence that it';s the vast vast majority of the fanbase. That's why if this continues for much longer we really need to think as a fanbase how we can all pool together and make sure that the club hears our voice.
We cannot sit back like nice little Ipswich anymore, if we do not get up this year, despite all our advantages as a big club with a large fanbase and a higher wage budget, we could face oblivion down here. If we flatter to deceive in this league even when we have all the advantages, then we've got no chance when we lose the size of club and financial advantage we have over many better run far smaller clubs in this league
For all of those sitting on the fence now hoping that it's going to work out, this is really serious and if this damage is allowed to continue to the point where we need to write off this season then our club will never recover and will always be a shadow of what it once was. As fans, we cannot allow that to happen. | |

The interview is obviously verging on Trumpian, and boll0cks...but the most worrying thing to come from the podcast is Watson saying he doesn’t sense any change on the horizon because Evans is putting a lot of stock in the injuries being a factor and because he “imposed last this style of play in the summer, he isn’t going to sack Lambert this early into using it.
