Other than Evans funds to the tune of £6 million a year, what value does he add? Does anyone know how many Town fans there are globally? If 30,000 set-up Direct Debits of £15 a month to cover the operating cost, that would largely cover what ME contributes.
While the co-ordination of this is challenging and the socio-economic realities of that monthly figure difficult for some, would you do it if it genuinely meant ‘we had our club back’? I’d happily forgo 3 pints a month (London prices) to remove this benefactor that omnipotently lurks in the shadows.
