Barbara Windsor RIP 83 on 00:41 - Dec 11 with 975 views | Coastalblue | I would imagine she had a fascinating life, with the people she knew and worked with. Not someone I've ever paid too much attention to aside from that Carry On camping scene as a very young man, will probably incentivise me to read some of the stuff about her as I'm sure there will be plenty devoted to her in the next few days.

Barbara Windsor RIP 83 on 06:12 - Dec 11 with 854 views | Pendejo | Poignantly sad for me. Like many males captivated by her assets, that fleeting side view from Carry On Camping. She performed the opening ceremony at a bathroom place in Derby Road in 80s(?) and someone I knew at the time said she was genuinely friendly and stereotypical "Babs" bubbly. Why poignant? My father has Alzheimer's and is 80 years old, let's face it, the countdown clock is ticking. "Carry on Heaven" gains a key member.

Barbara Windsor RIP 83 on 09:19 - Dec 11 with 700 views | BloomBlue | I actually had the pleasure of having dinner with her in a restaurant in the 60's, ok it was more by accident and it involved 10 people at the meal and it was purely because the friend who had invited us to his birthday meal was also friends with her at the time. But she was charming and normal although at that time the 'Carry on' films had only just started and she was mainly known for other film roles. Then tragically the friend was killed in a car crash a few years later and she attended the funeral and was still an ordinally person no big film star approach from her even though she had become more famous by then because of the carry-on films.
