Sorry N2 but people have completely misunderstood the meaning of my post, because it probably wasn’t very clear.

Lambert has to go the shape, tactics, passages of play were woeful today. Even with the injuries and the weakened side.

My point more was I just didn’t think Pompey players man fir man were that strong they were just in a better system and in better form.

My point was even in the sh!t Lambert system from today - with our stronger players on, we could have won. Norwood bossed them in the FA cup.

Apologies for the conclusion, I think the board are looking for a Lambert sympathiser to ravage!,

Do you really think our defensive players striking options and keeper are better than theirs. Fully fit I'd agree we have better midfield options, but that's about it.

Lambert is the biggest problem but our squad ain't that great. If it was, even with a clueless manager they'd do enough to turn out performances.

Poor managers, with poor technical and tactical preparation being outplayed by team after team after team.

It’s as simple as that.

The injuries this term are terrible and provide some excuse, bishop, Edwards, Downes, Kvy, Norwood playing we would have walked that... but they would have been providing the shape by their quality not by the coaching

I actually think we have an amazing crop of players coming through, and I’m so glad the fans clapped the players at the end... and booed the manager before that

Jacket would have us top, the Coventry manager would have us playing in the championship

We just have a series of boring, untechnical, unipswich managers being out in place by a clueless owner... has to stop
