Agree, but can't blame Chambers for the club employing him. Although he is fortunate that coincidentally his natural progression with age in declining competence from average second tier player to average third tier player has kept step with the competence of the team overall. |  | | |

No you can’t blame him. He’s made a lovely living out of Ipswich, can’t knock him for that.
Knock the club and decision makers for constantly keeping him around but that isn’t Chambers’ fault.
As you say, he’s very fortunate he’s been here during a serious decline from the club, because if we were on the up, he would have been long gone by now. | |
