Its just got to be financial implications of getting rid of Lambert surely?
It's been said there will be clauses in the contract, i'd guess as soon as Lambert is a certain amount of points outside top 6 that'll be it. Anything before hand won't happen as it'll cost to much. it has to be financial hasn't it?
Oh and before someone mentions well Hurst's start was worse - overall Lambert hasn't done anything here, took us down, midtable last season on the cards prior to pandemic and now looking like a potential bottom 5 league 1 side [Post edited 14 Dec 2020 22:02]

Every passing day Lambert brings less and less daylight between himself and Hurst. I still think Hurst was ridiculously irresponsible in the summer he came in, and to the credit of people on TWTD, many thought that was true as he was making changes to the squad.
In essence, had Lambert came in when Hurst did, I doubt we would have gone down, but I also doubt he would have ever got us in the top half of the table either. |  |
