If he came out with something different tonight, say 442 or a 4132 or something then at least that would be some indication that he can see there is a problem and that he is willing to try to address it. People might be willing to give him some time to turn it around if there were any green shots.
The problem is he is stubborn and that won't happen so people have had enough.

If it meant he went I'd happily take a loss as points-wise we're still 'in it' even if we're miles off quality-wise so a new guy could come in and recover the situation in time for us to push up to the top.
The problem is a loss (and any subsequent negative results) will probably only lead Lambert to strengthen his case to Evans that the injuries are really hurting so he needs time for them to come back or to use January to get some bodies in. The worse we do the more Lambert will point fingers at anyone but himself, and sadly it seems Evans will side with him when he does it. |  |

How the papers haven't turned yet is beyond comprehension, week in week out they are saying the same things, they need to grow a pair and reflect the feeling of the fans. |

That just proves that they have been consistently rubbish for a long time given their league position which is bottom of the league having played more games that the other teams. Even a recent improvement hasn't moved them off the bottom.
We should be beating the team who are bottom of the league having played more games regardless of what the form table says. If we can't then it just highlights the issues.

I will be as hurt as always - despite the failings of the manager, i never, ever want us to lose and i certainly wouldn't be willing it. Burton may be bottom but they are no pushovers - they tore apart Charlton just a few weeks ago and i wouldn't be surprised to see the same here. |  |
