Yes but the only problem is Evan's is unlikely to see it this way.

Not the point , I still think we are a tad worse than at least 6/7 other teams , we lack the organisation , shape and drive of these others , all down to management and how they are being set up / asked to play ...... only my opinion. | | | |

The league table as it stands isn't really worth anything is it - there are games in hand all over the place with only 8 points between top and 12th.
I stand by two things I've said previously:
1. Top 6 is a par performance for the manager with the resources available to him
2. We aren't playing well enough to finish in the top 6

Perhaps, but not as surprised as I would be that I'm still in the role at all off the back of last season. We're 5th, but the sides below us have games in hand. We could feasibly be out of the playoffs after those, we can't beat anyone half decent, and our performances are turd. If Lambert was dismissed tomorrow he can't really have any massive complaints.

I know no team has a divine right to do well in any league. But we are Ipswich town in the 3rd division, we'er not the championship or even the premier league.
Doing well in a piss poor 3rd tear should be the minimum of our expectations. Just about getting scrapping a win at home against bottom side Burton shouldn't be acceptable to anyone. |  | | |
