I don't disagree and in no way am I defending Cummins - everyone knows he's an idiot.
All I am saying is that some point you have to look forwards and not backwards. Continually citing a moron from 6 months ago isn't really a valid reason to do anything now in my opinion.
About goodwill: are we saying that people only follow guidance because there is goodwill? Surely most follow guidance because the scientists and experts say they are needed to protect themselves and others?
Everyone knows the government is rubbish but if someone rubbish tells you that you should do something it doesn't mean you should ignore them just because of that, each instance should be treated on it's own merits.
