Weird football dreams? 13:33 - Dec 28 with 854 viewsmonytowbray

I had one last night where we played Lincoln away and I was there. Ground looked nothing like the real thing and for some reason I accidentally ended up in the Lincoln end and I had some Scottish bloke calling me asking for updates for the radio commentary. Also the pitch had play park related things all over it and half our team were more interested in playing on the swings than playing the game. And then even weirder, behind the stands were some giant alive plastic multicoloured dinosaurs walking about. Only part that made sense was we were losing 1-0 lol.

Can anyone top that?

Callis is vegan. Mind you, I definitely wouldn't recommend eating vegan cheese.

You're Paul Lambert and I claim my £1.75 voucher for a Marcus Evans Group event of my choice.

*Pair of (allegedly) dodgy Olympic 100m tickets please Marcus.

Personally I think it’s a reason to smoke even more of it. Dinosaurs.

Nothing wrong with vegan cheese. It’s not concealed and stale cow milk which is a bonus.

I can assure sure you, the only reason I conceal cheese is to stop the rest of the house eating it...

I'm with Romesh on this one. I'm not averse to vegan foods by any means(hell, my 'work sweets' are pretty much 100% vegan nowadays), but vegan cheese is terrible.

I had one a few weeks back where we scored a last minute winner against Norwich and it felt so joyous and real while I was dreaming, I was devastated when I woke up. Then I started to realise there had been some obvious tell-tale signs that it wasn’t real all along - Portman Road wasn’t quite right, I was in the co-op stand down by the north stand corner flag (never sat there in my life), and the co-op looked more like the old north stand than what it really looks like - was one tier, but still just full of families. Felt really silly that it had felt so real when I realised Shefki had scored the winner and done his dive celebration right in front of me too, I think the team was just a hodgepodge of players from various times since I started following town in the 90s - Kuqi’s goal was a follow up to a David Johnson volley that had been saved, and the cross had come in from Mark Venus. Think there were a couple of current town players there too though.

The worst part is I’ve never been there to see us beat Nodge, the best one I’ve been at was a 1-1 draw where we scored a late equaliser (I think Pablo missed a penalty and Bent followed up to score, but the memory is a bit hazy).

Poll: Will Town score again this season?

Nothing as detailed as that.
I'm on the 6 yard line and everyone shouts Shoot!
I shoot and it goes over the bar. Groans from the crowd.
The blue-shirted Town players congratulate me and say "nice one".
I then realise I'm playing for the opposition.

I've had this dream a few times since which starts with the Shoot!, and once I've blasted it over the bar I wake up before I get the congrats from the lads.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?
