Kate Bush was the first UK female singer song writer to get a number one single so very talented, I am a big admirer of her voice and songs, I love the Red Shoes album.

Yep, amazing, and influential to so many other artists. There's a lot of the same sounds and shifts in Marina (and the Diamonds), especially the early demos, and less obviously in stuff like Nightwish and even the more intimate/intricate Billie Eilish moments. Many, many others of course. What a groundbreaking artist she was/is.

Excellent album. Never For Ever is my all time favourite of hers - my Dad got me the cassette when I was 9 and I still listen to it regularly now. Not one bad track on there.

The Dreaming is of course the best and most adventurous album Kate Bush has ever produced.

It was though, commercial suicide. But it gave her the confidence to make records in her own terms and followed it four years later with the brilliant Hounds Of Love.
