Last Christmas is number one on 18:50 - Jan 1 by GlasgowBlue
Yeah I knew it lost out to Band Aid in 84 but I had always thought it made number one a year later. My memory is nit what it used to be.
Everything she wants, on the other side of the disc is the best ever Wham song.
Shakin Stevens, Merry Christmas Everyone was Christmas number 1 in 85. The record was produced and scheduled for release for the 1984 charts, then, when they found out, that Band Aid was being released, decided to hold it back for the following year!

Stevens. Has to be up there as one of the very very worst of the genre.
See also McCartney, wonderful Christmas time, and Richards, mistletoe and wine.

Everything she wants is an amazing track that had it been recoorded by someone other than Wham! would have got a lot more plaudits.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
