Just to point out there's a lot of people laying into libertarians without seemingly actually understanding what it is and how many strands there are.
E.G. There are plenty of left wing libertarians (Like me) who are a mile away in many aspects to the right wing economic libertarians (Much of the Tory right)

The point is that there is no evidence that lower taxes boosts the economy and even evidence to the contrary (although you choose to ignore it).
The other question you continue to ignore is which services you propose should be cut even harder than under current austerity in order to cut the tax burden even more.

Ok, right, the article does not prove that point because it is about cutting taxes to the super rich, not to middle and low earners, which is what I have suggested. I hope that clarifies your first point.
Second point, where would I lower spending if I were inexplicably named dictator of the UK ... as I said last night I’m not going to produce a full Paz endorsed alternative budget but a few ideas below:
Benefits - as I’m reducing taxes for poorer people they will require fewer benefits
Foreign aid - scrapped entirely
Health - I would keep overall spending the same but it would be rationalised. Focused on priorities. Just one example, things like fertility treatment would not be available on the NHS
Libraries - a small example but one you mentioned yesterday. Why do we need libraries when we have the internet? I’d sell the buildings and use the money to get decent IT equipment to poor kids.
Government departments - all based in expensive London property - sell these and base them in cheaper places
That’s just a few ideas, as I said, I’m not spending my Sunday preparing a mini budget for you. | |

You could probably infer from context clues what people are talking about when mentioning something libertarian rather than complain you're personally being insulted.
Being somewhat southwards on a sliding scale from authoritarian to libertarian (as the only two options) doesn't really define you as a libertarian either, given that they're labelled as the two extreme points. |  |
