I've always been amused by the fact that it's actually a song from Carousel sung by a middle-aged woman. Patricia Routledge's rendition in the 1992 National Theatre production was apparently quite special.

Just thinking what a fabulous age/era I was lucky enough to be born into. First game at Portman Road 62/63 season and all the glory/fun years that followed till......! Even Portman Rd occasionally rocked with this anthem back in the day! Sad to read he's passed!
