I guess that’s the issue with Joey, it’s never purely football. ABH, common assault, a string of disciplinary and betting issues. Personally I think anyone in the public spotlight who has that past and uses Twitter as openly as he does is always open to ridicule. Despite being an open advocate of gay rights, a patron of several charities and writer for several notable causes, he’ll be forever tarnished as people generally don’t forget the past unless it suits them or the subject has a great PR team! |  |

Thats what's so laughable about the Ched Evans thing..... now this not to say Ched isn't a knob, guilty or not he's clearly got issues but for Barton to call our anyone over behaviour or discipline is the darkest of pots calling the kettle black |  |
