Private company removes something from their platform they don't like.
"Very communist"
These people flaunt their ignorance like a badge of honour. Tragic really.

False information about Covid is something more than 'factually incorrect'; it's potentially life-threatening.
YouTube have their guidelines, and if you break them you get banned. Should they allow David Icke back?

I'm not sure Talk Radio can really be compared to David Icke. From what I have seen they generally challenge Government stats and figures and question the overall benefit of lockdowns, but i've not seen any examples of false information about covid being pushed on their station.
It would be interesting to know exactly what the offence was that led to their removal, but so far youtube have remained tight lipped.
To me it all seems a little strange when you consider some of utter garbage that is still allowed on youtube, flat earth videos etc.

It's irrelevant as YouTube are a private entity who can dictate the terms of their own platform (within the law).

Why is it communist?
Care to explain how censoring a platform that promotes false information and conspiracy theories which could be damaging to the public fits into the following:
Communism is a philosophical, social, political and economic ideology and movement whose ultimate goal is the establishment of a communist society, namely a socioeconomic order structured upon the ideas of common ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes, money and the state.
Unless, of course, you are simply using the far right's current trend to label anything they don't agree with, be it BLM or taking the knee as communist or Marxist?
Do you have any examples of Talk Radio promoting conspiracy theories? I can't say its a station I listen to but on all the clips of interviews I have seen online I have not ever seen any that fall into that category.

Absolutely, they can do what they want with their own platform but whereas the removal of David Icke one was somewhat understandable, this one on the face of it makes little sense.
Talk radio is, after all, a national mainstream station that is regulated by ofcom etc. and as far as I am aware has not been in any kind of trouble before.

Clear censorship, and a dangerous precedent, how can you remove content from a whole radio station that is presumably regulated by ofcom just because someone (who? God?) doesn't like some things being said? From what i've heard they have presenters for and against lockdown debating the topic - is that so dangerous it must be censored? Yet Sky is merrily broadcasting Russian propaganda into our homes each day via RT.
Anyway, I quite like those exclamation marks Twitter do to individual posts, they seem a decent balance between freedom of speech and peddling dangerous misinformation.

Today I've learned that rather a large number of people don't really understand what censorship is.

so it was censorship when posters were banned from twtd. e.g. benters
No, that was sweet relief!

Just as a note, I believe lockdown scepticism is covered as part of it's Covid guidelines essentially.
And I quote: "Content that disputes the efficacy of guidance from the WHO or local health authorities on physical distancing or self-isolation measures to reduce the transmission of COVID-19"

Wow, I am genuinely surprised by that. I mean there are a number of experts out there who have questioned the net benefit of lockdowns and even the WHO themselves have voiced their concerns that could be interpreted as 'sceptical'.
David Nabarro from WHO said :
“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus.” Nabarro continued by saying, “The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganize, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it"
Nabarro went on to describe how “lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never, ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer.” He added, “Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world. Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”
Whilst this is not an outright condemnation it also shows that there are legitimate concerns. Science is also fluid of course, and what constitutes official advise now may be different in 6 months time.
I really don't think Google/youtube should be getting involved to this degree in terms of what is allowed, and what is not allowed to be said. It's their platform so they can effectively do as they please but I would have hoped that they would bear some sort of responsibility in promoting freedom of speech.

I imagine the reason for this is to make it incredibly simple to follow the rules, essentially.
If you start saying "well maybe this is allowed" it then becomes a judgment of the person reviewing it, which leads to inconsistencies. Given the size of the platform, it would be incredibly hard to moderate all the videos, and watch them fully to work out whether they are promoting nonsense or being critical in an ethical manner (if you see what I mean).
So, from their point of view, ban everything in that list as it's simple to follow. If you think your video will breach the guidelines, don't post it there.
I'm not saying it's by any means perfect, as you say lockdowns are by no means the perfect tool (although even your quote makes it clear they do have a use), as he himself explains:
Obviously this was all pre-new variant so again, that has to come into consideration.

Agree, they are a private company. they can do as they please. However they should therefore be regarded in law as a publisher and judged as such. At the moment they're not.
This decision is all about big tech censorship of a platform they don't like. Very communist.

Isn’t censorship about restriction of language?
Let me check a definition
“ Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information, on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient."
Hmmm, I wonder if there are any convenient examples of censorship that could be used by children to understand the concept more fully.
The Last Baron of what?

So something like buying some time whilst a vaccine gets rolled out, that kind of thing.

And just to confirm, now been reinstated after review.
So probably what I said, someone has moderated the video found it broke the guidelines only for a review to suggest it didn't break it enough so to speak.
