Isn't that what the 'Hands, Face, Space' drill has been about since March? (The habit we have supposed to been in is that we assume that everyone is asymptomatic and every thing you touch outside of your home is contaminated - as a minimum/starting point?)
Not really, all of that is acting as though you don’t have Covid and others may.
That leads people to assume they don’t have Covid, natural to assume you don’t have it, and make then make risk based decisions based on not catching it.
That hasn’t been working as well as they needed.
So, it is an attempt to get people to think differently.
If you think you have Covid you wouldn’t walk out the door. Which is difficult if you can’t get a delivery slot, or if you work in a job where you could work from home, but your employer won’t let you.

I'm off to Aldi in a bit. Does this mean I should pretend to have a continuous cough, sweat a bit and shout in a loud voice that I can't smell the flowers?!

In all seriousness it probably means that you shouldn't really go at all unless you absolutely have to. However, you might find that faking symptoms keeps the carriers away from you!

The best thing to do, is like you should do when driving.
Do your utmost to make sure that you keep yourself straight and steer clear from everyone else, because you can't guarantee that they're not a f*cking moron.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
