I got lazy and didn’t thin out the top before taking out quite a large branch. In my eagerness to ensure the main branch fell in a way that didn’t get me in the face I failed to anticipate a lesser branch smashing me.

I knew someone who actually did this many moons ago. He wasn,t the brightest to be fair and lived to tell the tale.........broke his arm though.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
