Yes we perhaps were lucky at the beginning of the season but results were still better and the defence was better than the current shower.
First defeat of the season at Doncaster and some were very quickly to scapegoat Nsiala. Any 'wrongdoings' in our defence and Nsiala was the first to be blamed. Non-stop Nsiala this, Nsiala that. He got dropped from the team in November so have the people been happy since then? Are they happy with the current shower of defence?
Second of bottom Swindon had a freedom of our box at times today. First goal for them and if Nsiala had played today he would have got a big abuse from some.
We need him to be back if not both Nsiala-Wilson.

Nsiala certainly isn't the answer but I thought the CBs were poor today. For that first goal, the header was scored from a central position, which is McGuiness and Woolfenden's territory, yet Chambers and Ward were the two players contesting the ball. Likewise, that chance that Swindon had early on where their man was played in by a pass over the top - it was in McGuiness's (or maybe Ward's) territory, yet Chambers was the one who had to track him. |  |

Nsiala has been the standout best cb this season and I never thought id say that at the start of the season. The 2 lads at the minute seem to be getting such an easy ride because they're young but how many goals have we conceded since they've come in to the team? So many mistakes. |  | | |

He's been far better this season than last but he also gives away penalties at an alarming rate. Would probably play him with McGuiness, but not much point playing him if Woolfenden doesn't get games. | |

Forget Nsiala and Wilson (I don't think there is all that much between all four of our CBs).
It is Norwood and Jackson playing together as a partnership that we miss most. How long does a system have to fail for before it is seen to not be working? We also miss Downes of last season too. |  |
