Would you take MM and TC back tomorrow? on 21:23 - Jan 10 by Keaneish
Unfortunately though all media in the aftermath picked it up as “McCarthy tells Ipswich fans to f*ck off”. Love them or loathe them, we are collective and are treated as so. A flat out denial from him afterward was insult to injury I expect.
I agree that I did not think that he should have denied it, he should have just made it clear which element of ITFC 'supporters' he was aiming at.
I also agree that we are 'seen' as a collective but I ceased to want to be associated with those people in any way quite some time ago.

Perhaps the OP means that he would come back because he has done the forgiving, not sure that I would though.
You can't go back anyway and I don't really see the point in the OP. It's not going to happen for a zillion reasons.
We need to be looking forwards and Evans needs to be putting a proper plan in place which includes putting himself together a team of support with experience.
It's hard to fathom how such a successful businessman hasn't worked out to approach the running of this bloody club still after all this time.

But would he be prepared to forgive the numbskulls?
I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t.
It’s amazing how many joined in that mindless nonsense who now hold their hands up like a brain dead centre half declaring no responsibility for the concussed striker lying flat out in front of them.

oh man I didn't realise Lambert and McCarthy were the only two options of manager.
Evans doesn't realise that
Football League First Division / Premier League
Champions (1): 1961—62 - Runners-up (2): 1980—81, 1981—82
Football League Second Division / EFL Championship
Champions (3): 1960—61, 1967—68, 1991—92 - Play-off winners (1): 1999—2000
Football League Third Division / EFL League One Champions (2): 1953—54, 1956—57 - Southern League Champions (1): 1936—37
FA Cup Winners (1): 1977—78 - Texaco Cup Winners (1): 1972—73
UEFA Cup / UEFA Europa League Winners (1): 1980—81
Nope, never go back always look forward. Get rid of Lambert and get a manager with a personality who know what they are doing and who isn’t living on their past glories as a player or manager.

What are we forgiving Mick for? He did a damn good job under the circumstances. It was the numb skulls who cried like babies when he had a go back at them after weeks of abuse they had dished out. It's been so much better since hasn't it?! Morons.
