Is it a sign that it is the end of the road for Lambert we all know how Evans works if so he will already be speaking to people im not saying the right ones.

Doubt it, probably more to do with the fact that we have a huge squad, and with players coming back we will probably be looking to shift some on rather than bring anyone in.

Because we've not signed anyone after 12 days of the 30 day transfer window?

1. Salary Cap
2. We're sh it
3. Apparently its hard to get players to come to Suffolk
4. We'll probably need to sell first
5. The Salary Cap

Strange how only Friday Taylor was saying they had been hopeful of an addition before the Sindon game.

Do think its weird that the Luke Thomas deal was extremely advanced, and some reported it was done, and we've not heard anything....

Maybe Barnsley persuaded Thomas he'd be in their plans? He did play at the weekend

I do hope Sindon isn't a typo!

It is a little odd that last week Taylor was suggesting he was hopeful of something been done before Swindon.

We are now heading for the next game and still no suggestion.

Suspect it could be a case of outgoings needed before incomings.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

With any luck, that will be the manager.

There's definitely an issue with recruitment, but the salary cap can't be the issue.

Swindon brought in Dominic Thompson who falls outside of the salary cap.
We need another left beck, why didn't we try and bring him in?
If it's because our scouts didn't know about him, why not?
Who else are they looking at?

Does Evans feels comfortable with the squad? (if so, he shouldn't be in football anymore)
Has Evans tightened the purse string?
Lambert is on his way out? (if so, pull the trigger now so a new manager can rebuild!)

Poll: Now that The Athletic has an article, is this takeover actually happening?

There is interest but not sure it's reached imminent status. Could happen, but there are a number of targets.

Lots of people claiming to be ITK said it was a done deal on twitter. I know thats not much to go off of. However Andy claimed it was very advanced.

Doubt it. I believe we made one signing during the same window last year, Josh Earl. And this year is obviously somewhat different in terms of what we can spend.

I always enjoy it when you correct your spelling errors/clarify points in your posts by editing Phil.

The big red 'This post has been edited by an administrator' always looks like you've had to tell yourself off for calling Dollars a nasty name.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I amended that one to add the 'imminent' TWTD in-joke.
