The whole thing is utterly pathetic isn't it.

You can come and drive on our roads having not had any lunch as I'm confiscating it, but there's no way you're allowed to bring in a ham sandwich. FFS.

It's no more than Patriotic Imperial Countries like Australia and New Zealand do.

You can of course always buy food in EU countries.

Does this mean Phil Ham is now banned from the EU? How will we get our coverages of Town's matches in European competitions?

Their ports don't seem to be clogged up like ours.

I've seen and heard plenty of, er let's be generous and call them teething problems, but it's all gone a bit quiet on the benefits of Global Britain hasn't it. Surely those should start kicking in now?

Interesting too that the main argument of the leave side seemed to be that low skilled workers drives down wages, yet the Govt have quietly just announced they've increased the number of visas for foreign fruit/veg pickers for 2021. 🧐

Er, great. Is it any better than the old one?

I suppose there might be some cheap fish going up in Scotland and the NE as they seem to be having problems selling them on to the EU.

The big environmental benefit of Wrexit seems to be that fish stocks will be replenished. (Obvs bad news for the fishermen who can't sell their catch any more, but, since they voted for it in the main, hey, that's karma).

Update on the fish. What a depressing, predictable act of self harm.
