Poll: If Paul Lambert remains the manager , will you be renewing your ST for next seas

Something weird here.

Out of contract in the summer, Plymouth want to buy him, but we only want to loan him?

I'm guessing it's because we have no cover at RB should Chambers get injured.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense at all.

Then again, we are run by clowns, so......

We’ve said we’ll loan him, which can’t be recalled anymore.

So that doesn’t really help

In which case then, i'd like to change my answer to 'because our owner and manger don't know what they're doing'.

Or perhaps he is letting the new manager make the decision?

Maybe it's to do with the option for another year - if he goes out on loan and does well, we've still got that option that could be triggered and the new manager may want to utilise him?

Hadn’t realised he had an option.

That feels like a sentence extension for him i’m sure

I just get the feeling all 8s not well with Mr Lamberts tenure at Town , despite Evans public affirmation of support , ( something I don't believe personally). Why the “ we must get something at Burton “ comment? I think he’s been told to buck his performance up or it’s cheerio 👋.

More likely about keeping our options open next season, if still in league 1, subject to salary cap; we offload others, so we need to use him.

Perhaps if we sell him for a fee Accrington will get a sell on clause lol

They ought to be putting up statues to Evans and Hurst outside the Crown Ground, given what we've done for them.

From a statistical point of view does anyone on here know the largest fees ever paid for a Division 4 full back and centre forward?

Planning for a long stay in the third division. What a time to be alive.

Not that Lambert seems to have considered him a right back option rather bizarrely

Not a terrible full back at all, not as attacking as a KVY but a steady player.

Has had a really rough time of it from Lambert.

Presume we aren’t letting him go because we don’t have a back up to Chambers.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

He won’t recoup anywhere near the 750,000 spent on him, and ultimately he is going to walk for free in the summer.

Suspect Evans would look to sell, but would imagine Lambert saying no to keep him as cover.

He's a RB if we're short at CB and a CB if we're short at RB seems to be the Lambert line.

We probably need the cover, but anyone know how much he’s on?
0

Town reject Donacian bid on 09:31 - Jan 16 with 1190 viewsSwansea_Blue

Why? He’s obviously not rated, so take the chance to move him on and get a few quid for him. Unless we’re just wanting more money? I can’t imagine we’ve got much leverage though as he barely plays or contributes.
