Seemed to be that he heard the 4th official give him permission to return to the field of play but the referee booked him for doing so before he had permission.

Is it the 4th official who is responsible for allowing them back on not the referee?

Norwood certainly plays on the edge,it doesn’t to take him much to go over but he does seem a very frustrated player at times.

I remember the same thing at Portman road a few years ago, the lino gave permission for an opposition player to go back onto the pitch and he got booked by the ref, went just as mental as Norwood did today when he got booked.
