It won't no, but better players give you a better chance of winning games - which is what we have been relying on for the entire season and a half in L1 under PL so far.

We are a shoddy machine, which he will just break down in the dirge of coaching.

Wrong solution to our issue. Already have kerjillions of players. Unless this bloke can coach the team, decide on the first 11 and when which subs get brought on and run the sports science dept it's a waste of time

Wish him well and has always looked a talent, but it does smack of a classic ITFC signing of the last two or three years in particular. Nothing against the player but not sure bringing him in clears anything up. Love to be wrong, obviously.

it's another signing for signings sake so they can say they did sign someone when we ask why we never strengthen.

Preston don't want him for a reason & that seems because he's been injury prone. Yes, he had an ACL so he missed most of the 2018-19 season. This season he's had hamstring problems. He's out of contract at Preston in the summer so this looks like make or break in his career. Given Town's shocking record of dealing with injured players, I doubt this will end well.

Poor bloke doesn't realise he's a turkey who's booked himself a couple of weeks' break at Bernard Matthews' place.

Apologies in advance, Josh.

Bishop has 100 appearances in 7 seasons so they should both be nice and fresh for the run-in....

It's a good signing. Preston fans seem to rate him, says he'll be league 1s best player. Seems he doesn't get a chance there, but PNEFC fans think he should.

I Will say with some confidence... Josh Harrop will be our player of the season this year. He is too good for this division.

He could be a good signing.

Judge proven not to be effective enough, Dobra and El Miz deemed yet not good enough, Bishop not maybe trusted enough.

A talented footballer, you can’t grumble about this one.

You do have a point there — we are going to have to rotate like hell and there is an extent to which we do need bodies. Harrop does have a capacity to produce something out of nothing. But we need to have him match sharp pretty quickly.

What we really need, more than this, is proper cover at full-back because KVY's issues are clearly dragging on and we are about to play more than half a season in three and a half months with two 35-year-olds.

We do have plenty of bodies though, what we need is players that improve us in key areas. Harrop joins Judge, Lankester, Dobra, and Bishop in competing for their favoured spot as an advanced midfielder/number 10. The alternative is to shoe horn one or more of them into the side elsewhere, likely as a wide forward. I don't really see that as being a good way forward for us, given how poorly Judge has played as a wide forward and how Dobra and Lankester are yet to really pull up any trees playing there this season. Why not strengthen the areas that need strengthening rather than adding bodies that become more square pegs?

Wouldn’t it be better to sign a RB? As said before, we’ve got plenty of number 10’s and you can see this lad being played out of position out wide. If Lambert never wanted to play Donacien, why did he keep him in the squad for two years? In terms of squad building, there’s not much logic and too many players playing out of position.

Donacien is probably on above average wages for this league, so hardly any clubs will match those. Bit different with his contract up in the summer as he will want to secure a new deal somewhere. I would have sold him to Plymouth as Woolfenden can cover the RB position.

Didn't he have an ACL injury a couple of years back?

He did, but played a lot of football last year so presumably is over that. I've no idea why Preston don't want him though.

Isn't this the player saying he wants to go out and play more than Preston saying they don't want him?
