Come end of season, Norwich will very likely be getting promoted to the premier league for the 4th time in 10 years. Four times! Ffs

1-1 - the Bart incident, started Graham, Skuse injured - possibly, Walters injured shortly after.
Could easily have won, Norwich fans had begun to get restless, would have been a massive boost to us and some presssure on Farke.
Was going to say not long ago, but it’s nearly 2 1/2 years already. We’re irrelevant to each other now, which is a shame for both clubs.

Is he keeping us alive? Without him we'd have fallen to league one earlier. We would have been forced to rebuild, play the youngsters etc.

Can't say it would definitely be any better but not sure it would be any worse?

Trying not to think about it, but looking at the table and results from the last few days, it seems like clubs like Bournemouth are doing their best to make it very easy for Noj - why does that always happen?

Speaking to a Noj fan around here before Christmas, he seemed to think that Delia and hubby would move aside when they are promoted, in effect to open the wallet and spend bigtime on staying in the PL. Let's hope they buy more van wolfswinkels than anything else!

There is no magic water in Norwich 0 so what is behind then finding and developing a player like Buendia /

Have they put money into a decent scouting network and coaching ?

What happened to the talk of an aim to have half the squad coming through the academy ? We haven't produced a first team keeper in 15 years.

So where is all the money going ?

Football just so empty right now though isnt it? Yes they go up and get untold riches but for what? They won't win anything and won't even come close to it. Football is all about the balance sheet these days, even fans boast about how wealthy they are above what is happening on the pitch. Fans know names of directors, clubs turnover and net spends. Facebook, Amazon and Tesla should be invited to create a team just so they can flaunt their financial success. Tbh it's all rather crap.

Sadly they do, and they are loving every second of us failing to compete in a league they walked out of without trying - bar the Colchester disaster.

Evans is to blame.

They are over the horizon and far, far away. The difference in infrastructure between the two clubs is an absolute chasm. It's so painful. And so damning.

thats because they are an extremely well run club with owners who are die hard supporters, they play a very good brand of football and have a quality manager and proven good young players who have progressed into the first team, the gap between us and them in my opinion has never been greater in my lifetime, saying this through gritted teeth but it is how it is and being a grown up who has supported itfc for over 40 yrs its fact!

Rest assured they do. It is no longer with that jealous look up either. They are genuinely looking at us like we used to enjoy looking at them (and still can and do in terms of actually winning anything). Who can blame them? We never thought we would be here. They don't believe the roles will return to how they were and it is very difficult to see how they will.

Agreed. Our rivals are Col U now. Unless there is a change of ownership and a bit of a miracle, sadly we will never compete with them again. Very depressing.

Typical yo yo club though! Have they got it right? Go up don’t spend a penny and come straight down then spend millions getting back up!
I suppose in the end that’s more in the bank if you look at that way.

They are being very smart though. Eventually they will stay in the Prem for a few years and really be able to start to build.

Yep. Absolutely no reason they can't end up being a Southampton, for example. The same should have been the case for us, but they have more savvy and football acumen in their little finger than we have across our entire club. Sad but true.

Well at least they wouldn't say that if it didn't still have the capacity to hurt them in their participation.
