Slightly off piste I’m having “fish cakes” home made of course, salmon, prawn, white fish but know flour or marzipan or baking powder...........fried & not baked.
What constitutes a cake? Or am I indeed getting confused here?

I am a big pastry lover, but, fish pie is absolutely gorgeous, especially if you get some nice fresh fish from a fish monger.
