Norwood on twitter getting all excited about the Masksd Singer on 09:38 - Jan 24 by GlasgowBlue | Speculating over whether or not it’s Stacey Solomon dressed as a sausage on a Saturday night variety show, isn’t a sign of “not giving a crap about Town”. We’re in lockdown and unable to meet up with friends and relatives. Having some banter on social media is one of the few outlets people have for a group chat with our mates. I’m hurting that Town lost. I’m hurting that I can’t work or do anything about earning any money whilst we are locked down. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to post some silly music video on TWTD or start a lighthearted thread about fictional countries. Norwood didn’t even play yesterday. There’s nothing he could have done about yesterday’s result. Regardless, he’s a young bloke living hundreds of miles away from his home town, unable to go out and socialise on a Saturday night, letting off a bit of steam. |
Quite. Some of the posts in this thread are unbelievable. How on earth do these people cope in real life if something so inconsequential riles them?

"Unbelievable" It's really not. The outrage about the supposed outrage is more bizarre. I couldn't give a crap either way - I neither watch that kind of TV nor follow anyone on Twitter. Not understanding that Illers is getting more grief than the footballer who won't be here when the rest of us still are.

Norwood on twitter getting all excited about the Masksd Singer on 04:03 - Jan 24 by Bluearmy71 | I'll gladly take a" swipe" at anyone who's view is similar or shared with Illiers! Who the hell are any of you to say how a person should behave after a loss, win or draw for that matter, he irrespective of being a footballer is an individual just like any of us and will have a different way of coping with things, maybe he should sit there and dwell on it and not release his frustration, just because someone is enjoying themselves doesn't mean they are not hurting!! |
Christ, did you scream and stamp your feet whilst typing that?

You're not a Town player so the attempts at parallels don't count at all. Completely irrelevant. Illers' point was perfectly clear and you are replying to me the next day trying to be awkward. In context, the OP was on a Saturday night after the match. That's when people post emotions. To look for an angle the next day is just typical of someone trying to be a knob. Especially when it's someone who's been [mostly] on ignore for nigh on 3 years. Stringing out a Saturday night post match thread on something like that ffs. [Post edited 24 Jan 2021 18:49]

Norwood on twitter getting all excited about the Masksd Singer on 23:25 - Jan 23 by Seablu | No problem with him watching a load of mindless & vacuous crap. I’d expect nothing less. The fact he wants to fart his irrelevant viewing pleasures onto social media shows just what a brainless lump of self importance he is. |
Another one. No one is making you look at his posts on Twitter. He can post what he likes. Get a grip and stop getting triggered by something so irrelevant to our current situation.

No Chelters, not another one at all. He posted that late last night. You are responding the evening of the following day. Saturday night - match day loss = pissed off fans of a club that's in trouble.

Indeed. I'm more concerned that anyone would watch sh1te like Masked Singer in the first place.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Exactly. What does that say about a player? Is he going to show up for training next week wearing a full face mask?

Oh don’t being so fookin’ precious jeera. I haven’t strung anything out or looked for an angle. When I logged on today I simply looked at thread I’d contributed to the previous evening, saw your reply and had the temerity to disagree with you. What an utter bastard I must be for having a different opinion to you and not thinking that Norward was disrespecting our club by watching and joking about the Masked fcukin Singer. I’m just glad I didn’t down vote your post as well. You’d have gone ballistic. No need to start name calling. People are allowed to disagree with you. No doubt I shall now be out back on ignore and join your list of posters you constantly refer to as “it” or “that one” c'est la vie

I don't think anyone's outraged about the outrage, just baffled. I don't give a crap, don't watch the programme either. And this isn't so much about illy as some of the other much worse meltdowns in this thread. Some of the bile over one of our players is amazing. I get it for the drink driving, but not this. No idea what your point is at the end. I don't think Illy's getting more grief than Norwood, and the length of time these people will be here is irrelevant. Maybe I'm missing something.

The man who employs the naughty step for anyone who disagrees with him, criticises someone who hasn’t put him on the naughty step...on the assumption he might put him on the naughty step. Even Harry Enfield could make a successful comeback if he did a half hour parody of you.
