It seems to have gone a bit under the radar but the Johnson and Johnson vaccine which is currently being tested is thought to only require one dose.

That would simplify things massively with regards to vaccine rollouts if it turns out to be true.

And Merck have ditched their two vaccines as well after poor trial results.

Yes, a single dose would be excellent as logistically makes a huge difference.
