Don't get the excitement over Matheson/Parrott 19:10 - Feb 1 with 1059 viewsMaySixth

good prospects on paper but no experience

handful of games between them thrown into a struggling team fighting for promotion

really hope it pays off but it's a huge ask - especially with our manager

Poll: If ITFC were to be relegated, would McKenna be poached to manage in the Prem?

A complete and utter roll of the dice, which stands a slim chance of working, but is probably going to be a costly waste of time and money.

An alternate roll of the dice would have been to have got rid of PL and let someone who knows what they're doing have a go with what we've got, which stands a slim chance of working, but would be time and money well spent.

Once again, Marcus Evans, ladies and gentlemen.

But he made such astute loan signings on his first January transfer window that came so close to keeping us in the Championship and we are still reaping the benefits from having gone on to sign!

I am delighted we have got some talent in the door rather than drifting through the window.

It gives the new manager something to work with when he arrives. Hopefully today. If not today, then tomorrow.

I wouldn’t say they’re that inexperienced - they’re both arguably more talked about in the scouting networks than our current crop of youngsters and have probably played the same number of games as a lot of them either at this level or above.

They’re both clearly talented and highly valued and not youngsters we’re just giving a chance to

If we were signing them full time I'd be super excited.

But 6 month loan is going to give us very little.

Once all our players our fit I want us playing our own players, throw Tyreece Simpson in, play El Mizouni, Dobra.

I honestly think if PL went down the youngster route fans would have been more patient and realised we are rebuilding.

Instead he has created a league 1 version of Big Micks team, Old players mixed with other teams youth prospects.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

I have family who are Rochdale fans so have been aware of Matheson since he broke into their team a couple of years ago, I saw him play once or twice as well. Very attacking full back, similar to KVY, could be a good addition...problem being will PL play him, and allow him to play to his strengths? All very well a wing back getting forward and putting in crosses but if there’s nobody in the box....!!!

Yes, good mate of mine a Dale fan - Matheson always effective as a wing-back, poor defensively

My issue isn't with the players coming in or going out on loan. My issue is the same awful dire 1 up front tactics will continue with the new personnel. Nothing will change until the man who organises the team goes. Sadly nothing will really change until the owner goes too.

It screams of a final roll of the dice from Lambert.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?
