I was explaining to my son some of the more familiar chants the North Stand used to enjoy in the 60's, when I became unsure of one line in the song "We all agree, Hancock is better than Yashin"
Did we used to sing "Crawford is better than Eusebio"....I have a vague recollection that occasionally it changed to "Broadfoot is better than Eusebio".
Or is that my fading memory playing tricks?

Isn't there a picture of the boy doing a dance in his full town kit on top of the dug out with swede and the lady witch before a night game. Probably title winning season or the one after! |
That picture is from 1962/63 according to 'Ipswich Town-The 1960's' although only Swede and the boy in the photo in there.
