Reading the story of players out of contract at the end of the season 00:38 - Feb 10 with 754 viewsBluedanW

How many would you keep hold of?

Players out of contract:-

Luke Chambers, Cole Skuse, Stephen Ward, Emyr Huws, Freddie Sears, Kayden Jackson, Teddy Bishop, Alan Judge, Toto Nsiala, Janoi Donacien, James Wilson, Gwion Edwards, Aaron Drinan, Tristan Nydam, Barry Cotter, Ben Morris, Ben Folami and Harry Wright.

Personally I would only keep wilson, Bishop, Edwards, Morris, Folami and Harry Wright. Maybe Judge as back up and donacien as he has an option of another season in his contract.
Clear out the rest. Maybe offer chambers a coaching role.

Bishop, El Miz.

Rest in the bin - will do well the pick up a contract at mid table League 2 sides most of them.

Edwards will run his contract down and sign elsewhere.

Yep, would offer Chambers the U9 assistant role if he wants it to be fair.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Yes I didnt put down the under 21 contracts ending soon. I must admit I don't know enough about them. IL miz looks good. None of them will get a chance with the current manager and owner as they would rather take on other clubs youth players

Problem is, we still need a team - and one capable of being competitive in the League. We are not going to be signing masses of replacements, the budget isn't there. As we often see in cup games, the youth alone (the direction you seem to be heading) cannot carry us to success.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Got enough keepers in the club so don’t need to extend Wright’s. Folami will stay in Australia now. I’d keep El-Miz, Wilson and Bishop the rest nah. Problem is now the salary cap has gone we don’t have to make hard decisions, we’ll probably end up being the charity club again and rewarded all those constant failures with fat 2/3 year contracts.
