McCarthy did similar here for his first couple of seasons. Went downhill after that though didn’t it.
Not sure why people have to keep harping on about him tbh. He’s had three jobs since he’s lef5 us and now has his fourth. Hardly a stayer is he. |
After 2 seasons here we hadn’t even made the playoffs yet
And as posted above, the disastrous spell at APOEL aside he’s lasted 4, 6, 3, 6, 6 and 2 years in his respective jobs throughout his career. That’s considerably longer than most managers tend to do in any job let alone as an average - he absolutely is a stayer [Post edited 14 Feb 2021 15:59]
