Crikey. I forgot about him. A true all-rounder. I think he coached the reserves and the youths, scouted and was physio.
He was also a tough central defender for one of the Suffolk and Ipswich League team's wasn't he? The joke was that he could kick you to pieces and than charge to treat / rehab you!

I'm very glad to hear he's doing well. He did many years of fantastic work at Colchester United.
I think of him quite often actually, because in lockdown when we can't go the barber's, I think I look a bit like him. His hair ALWAYS looked like he was planning to get it cut next week.
