Evans would be looking to recoup on his original investment, not the annual operating costs over the last 13 years. The debt was 35 million but he acquired this for a significantly reduced sum. It’s this figure he’d be selling the club for. Not sure how much he’s put into Playford Road.

Why would he not want to recoup at least some of the money he's put into running costs during his ownership? It's a heck of a lot to just write off. Playford Road was sold to part of MEG a few years ago, to raise funds. Presumably the club/new owners would have to buy it back.

He will not be selling the club for £8m, it's dreamland to think he is. Plus, without a salary cap, the club runs a massive loss each year - it's simply totally unrealsitic to think fans can run the club and it be what we want it to be.....fan run clubs hit a celing in the middle of League 1 before they get investment. Considering most ITFC fans think that the middle of League 1 should be our natural floor then it's a non starter [Post edited 19 Feb 2021 8:22]
