Maybe ME’s only way of following the Ipswich way. We’ve got a good history of looking after our managers, the slight change is we’ve had absolutely no success, and managed our worst league position for decades.

I don't think it is negative as a rule, because it gives managers assurance that you really get a fair chance here - the Lambert case has gone on too long.

Managers, in the crazy world of football would love the chance to actually be given a lot of time to build a project.

Didn't Pardew get something like 9 years?

He did and luckily enough for Newcastle Palace wanted him so they encouraged him to go.
Unfortunately I can't see anyone coming for Lambert
