The roadmap out of lockdown 09:53 - Feb 23 with 1536 views | bluelagos | Do I take the lack of comment/threads as the Twtderatti being happy with the roadmap/way forward? Or just a weariness for all thing CV?

The roadmap out of lockdown on 11:10 - Feb 23 with 241 views | itfcjoe | I think most are happy with it - the only areas I've seen concerns with are schools going back before vaccinations......and some saying it is too slow. I think it is about right, it allows each opening to settle down before the next one - rather than previously where everything unlocks, it spikes and not able to firm up what has caused it, and what needs more works

The roadmap out of lockdown on 10:41 - Feb 23 by GlasgowBlue | Not being able to open until the middle of May (at the earliest) added to already having been closed for five months of 2020 and two months of 2021, really is squeaky bum time in terms of whether my business is still viable. But I’d rather be in this position than opening too early, only to face another long shutdown which would definitely sink me. |
I do a lot of work in pubs, and they'd all to a man rather stay shut until they don't have to shut again. Everytime they open then shut it costs them a load of money in stock, staff, etc - the christmas shambles especially bad

The roadmap out of lockdown on 11:07 - Feb 23 by ipswich78 | I am hoping that their messaging and dates were purposefully cautious, so things may get better sooner - as you say many people will not hear 'Not before'. |
Tbh, I hope we get out of lockdown sooner but I just don't see it happening tbh. Maybe if they got the vaccines up to 1m a day but we are reliant on the manufacturers here and there are 170 other countries clambering (not unreasonably) for the vaccine too. Am sort of resigned to the roadmap and thinking it could even slip if things take a bad turn. But at least we can see where it's going - fingers crossed.
