It's funny that when we had a lot of injuries, that was PL's excuse for us doing badly.
However, if we were to somehow get a victory over injury ravaged Hull tonight, I don't think you will be able to stop him from boasting.

I was at the game, I was working for Dixon Motors at the time, sponsors of Grimsby Town and was there taking some people to the game on hospitality, great fish and chips for the meal, proper apple pie and custard for dessert but woeful performance
Most of the people I took were Rotherham fans, look how the tables have turned now | |

The bizarre team selection & listless performance against Northampton was the one that convinced me Lambert had totally lost the plot. However, he's obviously hanging on for a pay-off which Evans isn't keen to make so it's impossible to know when he's going to go. But he won't be here next season. |  |

A clause in the contract will be triggered when a performance criterion becomes 'mathematically impossible.' That will probably be in around five to eight weeks from now. Lambert may be willing to accept a slightly better pay-off before then, but Evans has very little incentive to haggle. |  |

I was at a meeting in Kettering which finished much earlier than planner so using mad logic, I convinced myself that going home via Grimsby would work well.
I also had local fish and chips and they were indeed, amazing.
I spent the whole journey driving home trying to get through to BBC 5 live to vent my anger but could not get through !
People said that Northampton last week was the worst ever, I would put the Grimsby "performance" against it, even being in the Championship | |

I remember we started the game well and missed 2 absolute sitters, Miller and Couñago if memory serves and completely dominated
Then out of nowhere Kabba roasted Wayne Brown and we were 2-0 down - Brown was horrific all game
Obviously we were shocking after that
For the sake of balance I just wanted to say I quite enjoyed the first 30 mins I think!
I’ve also maintained that had Burley stayed we would have made the play-offs that season as the relegation hangover was just taking time to go
