If Sheeran wanted todo something for the club he could pledge a big wedge to improve the academy
Something like that would make more sense for a wealthy local person who would want to make a difference without risking losing everything they have worked for.
Sheeran would not be in a position to buy, or perhaps even match the cash possibly required to throw in, if anything goes wrong in the future.
I was wondering earlier if he may have done us a massive favour in making the Americans aware of us? Certainly i would imagine they would think it could make them a much more marketable business having one of the biggest musicians on the planet supporting a little known club. On a similar subject i'm sure its been mentioned by someone else but assuming there could be a Prime documentary in the back of their minds?

Actually, I went to the final Olympic Games opening ceremony dress rehearsal in 2012 and there was this ginger bloke doing warm up stuff with his guitar. Oh gawd, thought I, but after he was was done we decided he was really good, even if the music wasn’t my cup of tea. It was Ed Sheeran.
