he has two options,

hopefully if the writing's on the wall he will realize it's in his best interests to go out with as many winning games under his belt so as to turn the heads of potential future employers - then he can claim he'd turned the ship around, was robbed of glory etc. |  | | |

I agree, I'd personally expect us to be in limbo until ownership changes, with either Evans doing it as his last act or the consortium as their first.
The only question is if Lambert decides enough is enough; just like Mick he's ending up as a caretaker in a job he used to have permanently. | |

Lambert is basically seeing out his own job like MM did. The player would know that and it’s going to effect their performance. Yeah strange situation.
If reports are correct then Evans has done us a huge turn by writing off the debt. However, on the other hand he will continue to oversee town sink whilst he is still here with Lambert in charge. It was him that gave this insane 5 year deal.
