There is no doubt that a new manager would have them in the first team squad.

I would go so far as to say, Jackson and Norwood would be our first choice strike pairing.

Nolan is a trickier one if Bishop, Dozzell and Downes are all playing well.

That’ll be a certainty I reckon. Joint leading scorer last season despite never being played in his best position, and a better midfielder than either Bish and Doz.

And even if not in long term plans, we’ve recently been offered somewhere round £1m for Jackson, not worth so much if he’s not playing.

His pre-Town past suggests he can certainly do a job in this division at the very least. I'd imagine he'd at least be in and around the squad.

Jackson will be very useful under a decent manager.
