So much happier with him back there, just knows where to be for stuff in a way that Woolfenden and McGuinness don't yet. Not perfect but we exude much greater stability under pressure.

Agreed. Missed him more than a lot of people probably realized over the last few months. He was out a long time.

Get's a lot of unfair criticism because he came from Lincoln and wasn't getting a game there. Had that been a Championship club he'd be easily seen as our best CB

Quite telling how much we missed him and Norwood who aren't objectively good, but certainly make us more streetwise at both ends of the pitch.

The dummy he threw in the second half on the edge of our box!

Agree with the OP. I believe Wilson has become a better player since he arrived. He was ok but agricultural would be my assessment of early last season and a decent squad filler. He is now ahead of Wolfenden, and the odd rash moment aside, Toto looks a better player alongside Wilson this season.

Kenlock has also kicked on since coming back into the reckoning.

It is no good having the best squad on paper in the division. You need to make them more than the sum of the parts and make them better as individuals.

It could be that we are finally starting to see this, just as PL exits side door left.
