I wish Ipswich had something akin to WBA or Chelsea’s pre match choon... on 11:43 - Feb 28 by Lord_Lucan
I like that - but it’s not so much always the song but more the fact everyone is singing it. Take Delilah for example, it’s not a song you would think of but the fact everyone sings it makes it good.
Suffolk folk though are very reserved, I’m not sure they would sing anything under any circumstances - I’m talking about the whole ground here.
The whole ground sung our version of Blue Moon when we relegated Man City.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I think something along the lines of "Ipswich's Promise", based on...
...would be quite unique. Especially if the club could provide tabs for the whole crowd beforehand.
And it would be a 'cinch' to get the crowd co-ordinated enough to sing it!
Actually, I meant this as a joke, but the more I think about it, the more I think it could work:
The flute intro over the tannoy, as the crowd get ready to go, and then keep the first line, finishing in the long drawn out "foo-oo-oo-oo-oool", then swap in some line ending in "Liverpoo-ooo-ooo-ool", then some other third line which has got the "boom-boom-boom" at the end which the crowd would love doing, then another couple of lines which would inevitably descend into chaos! And maybe the tannoy has that bit of flute solo after that too, although it would obviously be mistimed given the inability of a crowd not to get ahead.

Would certainly be interesting to try.

Now that would be something to get us singing.
Tabs all round.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”

We’ve been here before but should persuade Cook if he comes to play ‘Story of the Blues’ by the mighty wah. He’s a scouser after all..
Story of the blues by The Mighty Wah is probably one of my favourite songs of all time. I’ve often dreamed of it being belted out at PR. What a song I would love that to happen. Would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and put an emotional tear in your eye.
