I was thinking that. Obviously Evans couldn't really take that into account, but it is a pretty dreadful week for him and I feel for him and his family. Although I wasn't happy with the way that him and Lambert were managing the team, but it was never really personal for me. They're only humans after all.

Does seem that way considering Gill and Taylor were given control. Hadn’t lambert stopped traveling to away games with the team and drove up on the day?
They knew the writing was on the wall and were just waiting for Evans to act.
