I see Cook is already calling out Town fans then:
"Football fans believe at clubs they are the 12th man but sometimes they are the 10th man because they are critical and anger can come out the wrong way.
"I've been set up to support my team with no negativity. For 90 minutes during a game its a fan's job to support the team.
"We love Saturday afternoons, going for a pint and then going to the games. I'm going to do my best to bring those good times back for Ipswich Town fans.".

I see Cook is already calling out Town fans then:

What I love about it, is he's being very open and honest from the start, not bullsht just to keep people onside,
fans know where they stand, players know where they stand etc etc
No surpises, just support, he'll do his best, if he fails, he unlike Lambert will have the grace to hold his hands up. |  |

True, but he wasn't afraid to be direct, he hasn't said Oh I love supporters, they are the be and end all, they are the 12th man, they are amazing etc etc etc
I can see from that that he wont be afraid to describe games for how they are, rather than " couldn't ask for more after losing 0-1 without a shot at goal | |

He's going to be very disappointed at Ipswich. If we stay down and the club is stuck in mid-table League One the fans in the ground will be booing the team off the pitch and calling for Cooks head. We are not like Man City fans who are upset with the odd bad season. We have had a handful of good seasons in 40 years and many have had enough of it. |  |
