*Should* we go up, (We'd better, I've lumped on at Ladbrokes today), Cook has got a big job on with us. Who is championship quality?
I don't really think we have too many, so it will be a summer of transition. Obviously if we fail to go up, we need to keep this squad together however. So Championship quality for me, or on the road to it.

Goal, Defence and Attack our priorities in the summer. There were a couple I was borderline on - Wilson and Lankester for example, but Wilson I'm convinced is a solid L1 defender, and Lancaster seems to have gone backwards under Lambert. Hopefully he'll start to progress again under Cook.

Norwood a perfectly acceptable option up front off the bench but we would need a couple of strikers.

Very few are up to standard. Despite his recent good form, this is Toto’s level. Wolf needs to step up massively based on this year and it’s impossible to judge KVY when he has been injured for so long.
I agree with you on the midfielders, bar possibly Judge, who is past his best.

Gwion hasn't ever managed 3 games at 7/10 in league 1
He had a wonderful 5 minute spell on Tuesday where he went to.comtrol a simple pass in space and it went straight under his foot and off the pitch. Just after we had a break and he tried to play a simple 10 yard into space and passed it way too hard straight off the pitch. Apart from that all he did was run around. PC will soon see through that

Agreed we don't have too many at all. There is potential in the likes of Nydam, Kenlock, Dobra, El Miz, Baggott, Gibbs etc. It would perhaps be beneficial to extend the loan of eg Parrot for continuity.
A fairly major overhaul is needed. As much as I would love us to go up I would not be averse to spending another year in league 1 if it meant being able to build a stronger team. | | | |

We need to unload a lot in the summer and get the wage bill down.
Then maybe he'll reset, maybe. Thats why this takeover/investment is so important. | |

We'd have a good chance of keeping Parrott for another year if we went up, as long as he's been happy here. That'd be a massive plus as he is going to really push on. | |

Indeed, even if we were to go up, and Evans is still in situ, you only have to look at how the last few years panned out, Evans and ITFC in the Championship isn't a good mix. | |

Toto is not good enough to play at a higher level imo. He is too rash and will always have the potential to make a major rick. He will be exposed by better strikers.
You may be right on Wolf - only time will tell. He is still young but has been disappointing this season.
I agree that Norwood misses too many, but he at least gets himself in the right positions. We would need other decent striking options but I wouldn’t rule him out. | |

I think we don't have many who can play in the Championship. A large number of them proved that when we got relegated from that league. Bishop when fit, Chambers, Skuse, Ward and Judge are too old. Norwood, Jackson, Nolan, Edwards, Huws, Dozzell and co not good enough. |  |

I don’t think there are many that can play in the Championship. However, the players have been at an unhappy shambles of a club working for a bloke that couldn’t set a team up and mumbled a lot about Dortmund.
If Cook is true to his word and gets them playing to his pattern, the deadwood will soon become clear. I also think that if the players get on a bit of a run in a happier environment they may well show more than they have to date.
I am always mindful of Damien Delaney who looked all over the shop for us, but went on to play for Palace successfully in the PL. |  | | |

I think you're being a bit generous with Woolf (based on this season), Toto, Edwards and probably Jackson.
But it's been hard to judge as the team has done so poorly as a unit. There's every chance that with a bit of improvement as a unit, most of those would have some role to play. We'd need better on top though in defence and attack especially. |  |
