I think in normal circumstances he wouldn't but thought we were that sht he may aswell just so he could see the likes of sears etc in match action. [Post edited 6 Mar 2021 17:54]

Sears shouldn't be playing for us now under any circumstance. Downes, Edwards and Jackson should have been the three subs if he wanted to make them at that point.

We were rubbish before, so seemed a fair decision. At that point we should have kicked on and taken the points. The Gillingham commentators certainly expected us to.

Would have been interesting to see what would have happened had sears not been brought on.

Yes, Parrott came off as well. Downes came on, although obviously not a like for like replacement & I think the idea was for Bishop to get forward.

Sears laid on one of their goals by being unable to pass to a teammate 5 yards away!! Now he's lost his speed he provides nothing
Paul Cook on 19:58 - Mar 6 with 721 views | britbiker | Unless my memory is fading, didn't Keane take over towards the end of a poor season and we went on a few games looking ok. We then went into an off season thinking we were better than we were. At least Cook can see just how poor we really are rather than fluking a play off place then getting hammered next season.

For his size. Youd think hed get in because he can find a yard of space and ping the ball about. But he cant. Hes imo an unfit aged striker who should be turning up for non league outfits now.
