What I don't understand is why Uruguay? Surely, the kangaroos are going to start with New Zealand (pop 4.15 M) aren't they? Indeed, Australians would have to successfully fight off 2 each. Or have I missed something and do the marsupials already rule Oceania?

I was wondering the same thing. Personally I'd much rather see them take on Spain which has a population of 47m so would be more of a fair fight.
